It had been there for a little over two years. The uniform I wore in Iraq and for all but a handful of days in 2009. I’ve had no reason to wear it since my deployment ended but then I read where there was going to be a parade here in Richmond and in several other cities for vets of Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
